✨New blog post✨ At 13 years old, SF climbed Mount Kilimanjaro a few months ago and shares her experience with us. In the first of a 2-part series, she recaps Day 1-4 of this incredible trip in journal form. Click 🔗 in bio…this is a MUST READ! As the youngest one in her group, SF shares what she was thinking, how she got homesick, when she got “bored” and how she got through her challenges both mentally and physically. 🏔️Facts about Mount Kilimanjaro:🏔️ * It is located in Tanzania, 205 miles from the equator and the highest point in Africa. * It is made up of 3 inactive volcanos. * In 1927, the first woman reached the summit. * The oldest person to climb Mount Kilimanjaro was an 89 year old American woman and the youngest person was a 6 year old American girl. * If you want to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, you have to be ready to hike up 30-40 miles depending on the route you take.
