how to stop overthinking
Overthinking is exhausting, isn’t it?
There are so many triggers for overthinking – anxiety, stress, control, fear, perfectionism.
But, there are tools to help yourself stop this seemingly never-ending spiral. We think the simple act of getting “it” out of your mind and into the world is a must!
Try one (or all) of these ways to release your thoughts:
🔸Journaling or writing
🔸Doodling
🔸Talking
Once a thought is “out there”, it tends to lose its magnitude and becomes much easier to deal with.
The overthinking spiral is broken and you can calmly address your issue. Filter your thoughts through the steps above, form a solution, decision or answer and then hopefully you can move on.
