In honor of Mother’s Day, I thought I’d share my experience on working with my mom. We started talking about yooou! last summer but we didn’t start until our first Instagram post in November and the website and blog in January. My mom and I constantly brainstorm about this initiative and how we want the company to go. My mom and I have pretty different jobs when it comes to yooou!. In the beginning we worked on all the basics together, like deciding the name, or picking which platforms we wanted to focus on. Now, most of the work we do is separate. I write this (Sienna Says), and my mom works on partnering with other people and companies, and we both work on Instagram. Honestly, we always argue about Instagram. We have different thoughts on how often we should post and the type of content we should put out there. Still, I love doing it. I really enjoy working on this with my mom because it always give us something to do together. And I’ve gotten a lot of experiences out of it. Working with my mom isn’t perfect but it brings us closer together. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! Love, Sienna
