how I track the books I read, by ST
This article was written for yooou! by 17 year old, ST. She is one of our Ambassadors and fun fact, she is from Ireland!
Hey readers, Sarah here! I recently saw some really cute journaling accounts on tiktok that created such aesthetic pages for the books they had read. They were so cute! I went down the rabbit hole of watching those journaling videos for hours. By the end I thought- I could definitely do this. I even put some stuff in my amazon basket (they are still sitting there one week later) But it got me thinking, how do you track the books that you read?
I usually have two main methods to track my reads:
In my opinion this app is so useful! It allows you to create reading goals, join groups and even have personalised reading lists – such as your TBR. I always like scrolling through goodreads and reading other people’s reviews. I can’t be the only one who wishes their parents started an account for them as a kid, I’d love to know how many books I’ve read in my lifetime.

I always have my reading journal on me! I find it so satisfying to colour in the reading tracker and jot down all my thoughts on the book I’ve read. I find this super helpful to look back on when I am writing my book reviews. I use the same brand of reading journal, which I mentioned before on my blog as an intern!

P.S I am so excited to be back writing blogs for yooou! and I am happy to announce that I am officially an Ambassador, looking forward to creating content for you all!
