need a group halloween costume? dress like the Clue board game characters

Need a last minute group Halloween costume? How about dressing up like the main characters from the original Clue board game?

This group of friends dressed up as the Clue characters for their recent mystery dinner party. So fun!

You can get creative and really make your character your own. 

 

The original Clue board game and the newer version are slightly different but you can make either work.

 

Mrs White – In the original board game, she is the maid. But in recent years, she was replaced by Dr Orchid, a biologist. You can go either way or if you have an extra person, dress up as both characters. 

• Wear this maid’s costume

 

Miss Scarlet – the young “flirt”

• Wear a tight-fitting red dress.
• Don’t forget the cigarette holder and maybe some long black gloves

 

Colonel Mustard – the stuffy old military colonel

• Wear a mustard fitting vest or suit
• A mustache is a must!
• A pipe, eyeglass and military medals are important too.

 

Mrs Peacock – the fancy socialite

• Wear a black dress
• Add a peacock hair clip and cat eye glasses
• A fur wrap or this boa is a fun addition

 

Mr Green – his character has changed over the years but in the original board game, he was a businessman.

• Wear a green suit, vest and/or tie
• Add some eye glasses or maybe a brief case for effect

Professor Plum – the nerdy professor

• A purple suit would be great but this sweater vest could be perfect
